FIT-4-NMP Networking and Brokerage Event in Romania at CAS 2022 Conference
On October 13, 2022, “FIT-4-NMP Networking and Brokerage event” was held in the frame of the International Semiconductor Conference (CAS), in Poiana Brasov, Romania. The event was organized by the FIT-4-NMP partner National Institute for R&D in Microtechnologies (IMT), Bucharest.
The local event was attended by 35 participants, including newcomer organizations from Moldova, Romania, Serbia.
The event was opened with a presentation of FIT-4-NMP project and its support activities for a successful participation in Horizon Europe.
The Head of Unit NCP Horizon Europe from the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI), Romania explained the participants why Horizon Europe is (should be) attractive for talented newcomers.
Further on, the Romanian NCP for Widening participation and spreading excellence presented useful information regarding Widening & ERA as new ways for networking and participation in Horizon Europe.
The second part of the event included presentations of 7 Romanian talented newcomers active in the NMP field, including their expertise, interests, potential contribution and main ideas for participating in NMP-related Horizon Europe topics/calls.
The event participants submitted Expressions of interest for participation to Horizon EU, which were published in a brochure that was distributed at CAS conference and are available online at https://www.imt.ro/cas/events_2022.php.
Moreover, the event participants had the opportunity to network with top specialists in the semiconductors field and the invited speakers at CAS 2022 conference.
