On 26th September 2023 the FIT-4-NMP project members participated in the Manufacturing Partnership Day organized by EFFRA at BluePoint Brussels.

The European Factories of the Future Research Association (EFFRA) is an industry-driven association promoting the development of new and innovative production technologies. EFFRA's main objective is to promote research on manufacturing technologies involving the European Commission through partnerships.

 

The EFFRA brings together high-level experts, researchers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders who are forming and developing the future of European manufacturing.

 

This year, the members of FIT-4-NMP had a great opportunity to take part in the EFFRA Manufacturing Day and go deeper together with the latest trends in advanced smart manufacturing and digitalization. Normally, the event is only open to members of EFFRA, but this year the registered newcomers and project partners had an excellent opportunity to take part in the event. Travel costs were covered by the FIT-4-NMP project.

The event brought together key players in the manufacturing industry to collaborate, share knowledge, and establish new connections. The agenda of the event included diverse topics: Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation, Sustainable Manufacturing, Advanced Robotics and Automation, Cybersecurity in Manufacturing processes, Quality control in Smart Manufacturing, Human-Machine Collaboration and Energy-efficient Manufacturing systems.

This event offered excellent opportunities for cooperation and the opportunity to get involved and create new consortia in EU projects.
