On 09 November 2021, Mr Giles Brandon, FIT-4-NMP Coordinator and Mrs Aurelija Povilaikė, Widening NCP for Lithuania held a special online training session focused on the HORIZON-WIDERA-2021-ACCESS-03-01 “TWINNING” call for the FIT-4-NMP talented newcomers.

During the training, Mrs Aurelija Povilaikė started with detailed explanations of the EC policy priorities and aspects behind the Horizon Europe Widening Programme, which should be considered during the proposal planning and preparation. She also presented the TWINNING call requirements and evaluation criteria as well as analysed the most frequent mistakes revealed by evaluators in previous TWINNING rounds.

Mr Giles Brandon gave his experienced-based insights on how to write a successful TWINNING proposal. Starting from the ideas on structuring the TWINNING network and the TWINNING proposal in general, he went through Section 1-3 content guiding the training participants on crucial elements to be formulated and presented in the proposal.
